Good Bye to Uncle Philip

After graduating magma cum laude with an associate's degree from Alvin College, Philip headed off in July to Utah to earn a degree in aviation management from Utah Valley University in Provo.

The grandkids will miss his silly faces.

After a farewell Tex-Mex lunch at Gringos, it was time to say adios.

We will miss you here in Texas Uncle Philip!

Summertime Chillin'

I'm still trying to bring the blog up to date, so here's another look back to this summer.

We hung around at the city park with some of the grandkids after the 4th of July parade.

The kids enjoyed these fun activities. 

Avery is flying through the air like an acrobat.

Elayna is focused on not being thrown off the rodeo bull, so she doesn't notice photo bombing grandpa in the background.

This is Evan scurrying like a hamster inside this inflated ball.

Kyla scampered up the rock climbing wall like a pro.

The kids enjoyed chillin' at the library for a few fun events, such as cupcake decorating day.

Evan thinks it's never too hot for a warm furry hug by the dinosaur who visited the library.
